Dembidolo-Mughi–Road Upgrading Project

The Dembidolo – Mughi – Gambela Road Project, Lot 1: Dembidolo – Mughi – Dolla Road project is a design and build road upgrading project that improves connectivity between Gambela and Oromia Regional states and is part of Addis Ababa – Nekemte – Dembidolo – Gambela – South Sudan Road.

Louis Armstrong International Airport

IMS was a part of the team undertaking design services for long-term airport development.  Our firm is tasked with utilities master planning and design work. 

Northeast Water Purification Plant Expansion

IMS is a major sub consultant in this project, supporting the Houston Waterworks Team (HWT). The firm is working as Design Engineer for the Northeast Water Purification Plant (NEWPP) Expansion Project for the City of Houston. The NEWPP expansion project consists of expanding the existing plant’s capacity by 320 million gallons per day (mgd) by 2024.

Fort Bend County Toll Road Authority

IMS is a major sub consultant (Design Engineer) supporting the Fort Bend County Toll Road Authority (FBCTRA) Program Manager (BGE Inc.) with the Segment B-2 Extension to the existing toll road system.

The Southern Gateway

IMS was retained by WSP, a multi-billion- dollar international transportation firm, to be a partner on the Southern Gateway Project located in Dallas, Texas, the 9th largest City in the country, to serve on the General Engineering Consultant (GEC) team.

Byram-Clinton Corridor

Hinds County Supervisors envisioned converting approximately 18 miles of roadway into a path that would both connect I-20 in Clinton to I-55 in Byram and drive sustainable economic growth within the area.  To assist the County in achieving its goal IMS is, among other tasks, providing design services for a 18-mile length of the Corridor from MS 18 to I-20.

Houston Surface Water Transmission Program

IMS Engineers is part of the City of Houston’s Surface Water Transmission Program (SWTP) Management Team charged with review, development and evaluation of elements associated with waterline transmission lines greater than 20-inch diameter. 

West Gray and Taft Street & Drainage Improvements

IMS is redesigning three miles of neighborhood streets in the Montrose /Mid-Town area of Houston, Texas. This area was originally constructed as a single-family land-use area, but is has now become a mixed-use land area of both single family and multi-family homes. 

East Bank Waste Water Treatment Plant Flood Protection System

IMS provided structural design guidance and construction phase services for a nearly one mile long, 14 feet high concrete T-Wall which separates the East Bank Wastewater Treatment Plant from the Mississippi River.  The project was needed as a result of Hurricane Katrina’s damage.

Walewale Road Project

IMS Engineers Inc. is in a contract with Ministry of Roads and Highways by way of Ghana Highways Authority. The contract, signed March 8, 2022, is for Consultancy Services for Design Review and Supervision of Construction of Tamale – Walewale Road: Phase 1: Savelugu – Walewale (83.0km). The project is expected last 36 months and cost $3.525 million.
