The Dembidolo – Mughi – Gambela Road Project, Lot 1: Dembidolo – Mughi – Dolla Road project is a design and build road upgrading project that improves connectivity between Gambela and Oromia Regional states and is part of Addis Ababa – Nekemte – Dembidolo – Gambela – South Sudan Road.

The project is design and construction of a flexible pavement with an asphalt concrete wearing course for the T5 Traffic category. The project road is approximately 51 km which starts at Dembidolo Town 630 km from Addis Ababa and ends at Dolla 51 km from Dembidolo Town.

IMS Engineers Inc. will manage the execution of the construction supervision of the project in association with Professional Engineers Consulting Plc. This is a part of a consultancy service agreement with Ethiopian Roads Authority on November 17, 2020 after being responsive bidder through local competitive bidding. The contract time for the completion of the project is 42 months of construction period with a commencement date of December 1, 2020 and completion date of June 1, 2024.
